Description

A delightful dessert that beautifully balances sweet and salty flavors with creamy textures, juicy strawberries, and crunchy pretzels.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup crushed pretzels
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping, thawed
  • 2 cups strawberries, sliced
  • 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, drained

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed pretzels, melted butter, and sugar. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish. Bake for 10 minutes, then allow to cool completely.
  2. In another bowl, use a hand mixer or stand mixer to beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy. Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping until well combined.
  3. Once the pretzel crust has cooled, layer the freshly sliced strawberries and drained crushed pineapple evenly over the crust. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the fruit layer, creating a smooth top.
  4. Cover the dish with plastic wrap or a lid and chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or until set. Serve cold for maximum refreshment.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. The crust may soften over time but flavors will remain delicious.
