Description

Delightful sweet rolls filled with strawberries and cream cheese, topped with a crunchy cereal for a perfect breakfast or dessert treat.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can of crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup of fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 1/2 cup of cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup of crushed cereal for topping (such as Frosted Flakes or Special K)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking sheet.
  2. Mix the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate into triangles. Spread cream cheese mixture, then add chopped strawberries.
  4. Roll each triangle from the wide end down to the point, forming a roll. Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
  5. Beat the egg and brush it over each roll.
  6. Sprinkle crushed cereal over the top of rolls.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar. Serve warm.
