Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, milk, eggs, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in the crock pot, ensuring it fits comfortably without being squished.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the meatloaf is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 160°F (70°C).
- Once cooked, let the meatloaf rest for a few minutes before slicing it into generous pieces. Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding chopped garlic or herbs like parsley and thyme to the mixture. Ensure that you don’t overwork the beef when mixing to keep the meatloaf tender.
