Description

A delightful twist on traditional lasagna, combining marinara, cheese, and ravioli for a quick and comforting dish.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 9 sheets of lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups of ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 1 pound of ravioli (cheese or meat-filled)
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). In a large baking dish, spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom.
  2. Lay down 3 sheets of lasagna noodles over the sauce.
  3. Spread half of the ricotta cheese over the noodles, followed by a layer of ravioli.
  4. Sprinkle a layer of mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top, and drizzle with olive oil.
  5. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients, finishing with the last sheets of noodles on top.
  6. Spread the remaining marinara sauce over the top layer, and sprinkle with remaining cheeses.
  7. Sprinkle Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper on top.
  8. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  9. Let it sit for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in the oven or microwave.
