Description

A hearty casserole loaded with savory meats, rich tomato sauce, and gooey mozzarella, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 pound Italian sausage
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
  • 2 cups sliced pepperoni
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cups cooked pasta
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Heat olive oil over medium heat and add chopped onions and minced garlic; sauté for 3–4 minutes.
  3. Add ground beef and Italian sausage; cook until well browned and drain excess fat.
  4. Stir in crushed tomatoes, Italian seasoning, and season with salt and pepper; let simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Combine the meat sauce with cooked pasta and sliced pepperoni in a large bowl.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  7. Bake for 20–25 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
