- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 pound Italian sausage
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
- 2 cups sliced pepperoni
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 cups cooked pasta
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Heat olive oil over medium heat and add chopped onions and minced garlic; sauté for 3–4 minutes.
- Add ground beef and Italian sausage; cook until well browned and drain excess fat.
- Stir in crushed tomatoes, Italian seasoning, and season with salt and pepper; let simmer for 10 minutes.
- Combine the meat sauce with cooked pasta and sliced pepperoni in a large bowl.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Serve hot with a crisp salad or garlic bread. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
