Description

A comforting dish featuring tender flank steak, peppers, and savory sauces, cooked slowly in a crock pot for maximum flavor.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs flank steak, cut into strips
  • 2 bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
  • 1/4 cup water (optional, for thickening)
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place the flank steak in the crock pot.
  2. Add the sliced bell peppers and onion into the pot.
  3. Pour in the beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, black pepper, and salt.
  4. Cover your crock pot and set it to cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  5. If you prefer a thicker sauce, mix cornstarch with water in a small bowl and stir it into the pot during the last 30 minutes of cooking.

Notes

Serve over rice or noodles. Can store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for 3 months.
