Description

Deliciously comforting burritos filled with creamy mashed potatoes and gooey cheese, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 4 flour tortillas
  • Oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. Start by gathering all your ingredients to make the process easier.
  2. In a bowl, mix the mashed potatoes, cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Place a portion of the potato mixture in the center of each tortilla, folding the sides over and rolling tightly.
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat, ensuring it’s hot enough for frying.
  5. Fry the burritos until golden and crispy on each side, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  6. Remove them and drain on paper towels to absorb any excess oil before serving.

Notes

Serve hot with salsa, guacamole, or sour cream. Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days or frozen for 2 months.
