Description

A delightful pie combining rich chocolate and crunchy pecans, perfectly balanced in a flaky crust.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pie crust
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place the pie crust in a pie dish and pre-bake for 10 minutes.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, corn syrup, brown sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
  4. Stir in the chocolate chips and chopped pecans.
  5. Pour the filling into the pre-baked pie crust, being careful not to overfill.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the filling is set and slightly puffed.
  7. Allow to cool before serving.

Notes
