- 1 pie crust
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup corn syrup
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Place the pie crust in a pie dish and pre-bake for 10 minutes.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, corn syrup, brown sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
- Stir in the chocolate chips and chopped pecans.
- Pour the filling into the pre-baked pie crust, being careful not to overfill.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the filling is set and slightly puffed.
- Allow to cool before serving.

Serve warm or at room temperature, optionally with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
