- 1 lb ground beef or lamb
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 4 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into wedges
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Combine ground meat, onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, parsley, egg, salt, pepper, cumin, and paprika in a large bowl.
- Shape the mixture into meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
- Toss the potato wedges with olive oil, salt, and pepper in a separate bowl.
- Arrange the potato wedges around the meatballs on the baking sheet.
- Bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and the potatoes are golden and tender.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
Serve hot with fresh salad or yogurt sauce. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
