Description

Quick and crunchy snack made with fresh spinach and melted cheese, perfect for a savory bite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (e.g., cheddar or parmesan)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Olive oil or cooking spray for baking

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly spray with olive oil or cooking spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped spinach, shredded cheese, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well, and if the spinach feels wet, gently squeeze out excess moisture.
  3. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 1–2 inches apart. Flatten each spoonful slightly. Bake for 10–15 minutes, or until edges are crispy.
  4. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for 2–3 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with yogurt dip, marinara sauce, or as a topping for soups and salads. To keep crunchy, store in an airtight container at room temperature.
