Description
A creamy and savory dip that combines beef, crispy bacon, and gooey cheese, perfect for parties and game nights.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 slices bacon, chopped
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1/2 cup diced green bell pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Tortilla chips for serving
Instructions
- Gather and prep all ingredients. Dice the tomatoes, onion, and bell pepper. Soften the cream cheese.
- Have the shredded cheddar and cream cheese ready near the stove.
- In a large skillet, cook the chopped bacon until crispy. Remove bacon, leaving the drippings.
- Add ground beef, onion, and bell pepper to the skillet. Cook until beef is browned and vegetables are soft. Drain excess fat if necessary.
- Stir in diced tomatoes, cream cheese, and shredded cheddar. Cook until cheeses melt into a smooth, creamy dip.
- Add cooked bacon back, season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Serve warm from the skillet or in a bowl with tortilla chips for dipping.
Notes
For a smoother texture, shred your own cheddar cheese. Adjust seasoning carefully as bacon and cheese add saltiness.
