Instructions

- Crack an egg into the same skillet and cook it to your liking—scrambled or fried. Season with salt and pepper.
- Toast the breakfast sandwich bun in a toaster or on the skillet for a bit of extra crunch, if desired.
- Place the slice of cheese on top of the egg as it nears completion, allowing it to melt beautifully.
- Assemble your sandwich by placing the cooked sausage patty on the bottom half of the bun, followed by the egg with melted cheese, and then the top half of the bun. Serve warm!
