Instructions
- Combine the shredded chicken, chopped broccoli, breadcrumbs, cheese (if using), egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix until well combined.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) if baking, or heat a skillet with olive oil over medium heat for frying.
- Shape the mixture into small nuggets or patties, ensuring they are compact.
- Place the nuggets on a lined baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through for even cooking. If frying, cook in the skillet for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden.
- Let the nuggets cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For gluten-free options, use almond flour or gluten-free breadcrumbs. You can also add variety by using different chopped vegetables.
