Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Heat a griddle or frying pan over medium heat and lightly grease it. Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the griddle for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface and edges look cooked, then flip and cook until golden brown on the other side.
- Serve warm with syrup or toppings of your choice.
Notes
Let the batter rest for 5–10 minutes for fluffier pancakes. Avoid overmixing the batter.
