- 1 cup milk

- 1 cup lemon-lime soda
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9 inch baking dish.
- Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a mixing bowl.
- Stir in the milk, melted butter, lemon juice, and lemon zest until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and gently pour the lemon-lime soda over the top (do not stir).
- Bake for about 40-45 minutes, until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool slightly before serving, optionally with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
