Description

This dish combines the bold flavors of a cheeseburger with creamy pasta for a comforting meal that’s rich, savory, and satisfying.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Chopped green onions, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook fettuccine pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside. Cook bacon until crisp, then crumble and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat. Season the beef with garlic powder, salt, and pepper, and stir to combine.
  3. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Reduce heat to low and stir in Parmesan and cheddar cheese until melted and smooth. Keep the sauce warm but do not let it boil.
  4. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Stir in crumbled bacon and mix well. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.

Notes

Serve this pasta hot with extra chopped green onions for freshness. A crisp green salad or garlic bread makes excellent sides.
