Description

A delightful dish that combines rich flavors and textures, filled with meats, cheeses, and vibrant vegetables.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb pizza dough
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 8 oz mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 6 oz sliced salami
  • 6 oz sliced pepperoni
  • 1 cup spinach, chopped
  • 1/2 cup bell pepper, sliced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Italian seasoning (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a rectangle, about ¼ inch thick.
  3. Spread marinara sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border.
  4. Layer the mozzarella, salami, pepperoni, spinach, and bell pepper on top of the sauce.
  5. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese and optional Italian seasoning.
  6. Carefully roll the dough into a tight log, sealing and tucking the ends underneath.
  7. Brush the top with the beaten egg.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Let it cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve with extra marinara sauce.

Notes

Best enjoyed warm, with light salad or garlic bread.
