Description

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup fresh spinach
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh herbs (such as basil or parsley) for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the potato gnocchi according to package instructions and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30–60 seconds.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Warm for 1–2 minutes.
  4. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until it melts and the sauce becomes smooth.
  5. Add the cooked gnocchi and fresh spinach to the skillet, gently tossing to coat.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve immediately, garnished with chopped fresh herbs.

Notes

Don’t overcook the gnocchi and keep the heat moderate when melting the cheese. Use fresh herbs for garnish.
