- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1 tablespoon ranch seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Tortilla chips or vegetable sticks for serving
Instructions
- Make sure the cream cheese is softened to room temperature. If your bacon is not yet cooked, cook it until crisp, let it cool, and crumble it. Chop the green onions and measure the cheddar and sour cream.
- In a bowl, mix together the sour cream, cream cheese, and ranch seasoning until smooth. Use a spatula or electric mixer on low for an even texture.
- Stir in the cheddar cheese, bacon, and green onions. No additional cooking is required, but if you like the cheese slightly melted, you can transfer the dip to an oven-safe dish and bake for 10 minutes at 350°F.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with extra green onion or cheddar. Serve with tortilla chips or vegetable sticks for dipping.
Notes
For a warm option, bake the dip for 8–10 minutes until the cheese softens and is slightly golden. Best served chilled or at room temperature.
