Description

A creamy and comforting casserole featuring tender shredded chicken, silky Alfredo sauce, and gooey melted cheese, perfect for weeknight dinners and meal prep.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 12 oz fettuccine or pasta of choice
  • 2 cups Alfredo sauce
  • 1 cup cottage cheese or Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente, then drain and set aside. Shred the chicken if not already shredded. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cooked pasta, Alfredo sauce, cottage cheese (or Greek yogurt), garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir well to coat.
  3. Transfer to the greased baking dish and spread evenly. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden.
  4. Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley if desired.

Notes

For a healthier option, substitute Greek yogurt for cottage cheese and use whole-grain pasta. Serve with a salad or steamed veggies.
