Description

These delicious flourless banana brownies are moist and fudgy, made with ripe bananas and almond butter, perfect for a quick dessert or snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking pan. Line with parchment paper for easy removal.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas in a large bowl until smooth. Stir in almond butter, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract until well combined. Sift in cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix until just combined.
  3. Gently fold in dark chocolate chips if using. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  4. Let cool for at least 20 minutes before slicing into squares and serving.

Notes

Serve warm with Greek yogurt or ice cream. Can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days at room temperature or 4-7 days in the refrigerator.
