Description

A creamy, sweet, and crunchy goat cheese appetizer topped with honey, toasted walnuts, and fresh herbs, perfect for parties or quick snacks.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz goat cheese
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
  • Fresh herbs (such as thyme or rosemary)
  • Crackers or bread for serving

Instructions

  1. Remove the goat cheese from the fridge 10–15 minutes before serving to soften slightly. If a firmer shape is preferred, leave it chilled and unmold it onto the platter.
  2. Chop the walnuts if not already chopped. Optionally, toss them with a pinch of sea salt and toast in a dry skillet for 2–3 minutes until fragrant.
  3. No full cooking is required for this appetizer; however, if you choose to toast the walnuts or desire a warm contrast, briefly warm the goat cheese on low heat or use warmed slices of bread for serving.
  4. Place the goat cheese on a serving platter, drizzle with honey, sprinkle with chopped walnuts, and scatter fresh herb leaves over the top. Serve immediately with crackers or slices of bread for dipping.

Notes

Serve with a variety of crackers and toasted baguette slices. Great to pair with light white wine or rosé.
