Description

A delightful twist on the classic Chicken Parmesan, combining creamy cottage cheese with shredded chicken and rich marinara sauce, topped with melty mozzarella and savory Parmesan.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 cup cooked chicken breast, shredded
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked pasta or quinoa (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix the cottage cheese, shredded chicken, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Spread half of the marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  4. Spoon the cottage cheese and chicken mixture over the sauce, then top with the remaining marinara sauce.
  5. Sprinkle the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese evenly over the top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  7. Serve warm, optionally with cooked pasta or quinoa for a complete meal.
