- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup frozen peas and carrots
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat until it shimmers.
- Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until softened, about 2-3 minutes.
- Incorporate the ground beef into the skillet and cook until browned.
- Stir in the cooked rice, beef broth, frozen peas and carrots, and soy sauce.
- Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
- Stir everything well and let it simmer for about 5-10 minutes.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
For variations, try using chicken or tofu instead of beef, and use beef broth to cook the rice for extra flavor.
