- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, diced
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk (for icing)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish with butter or nonstick spray.
- Dice the strawberries and set on paper towels to remove excess moisture.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, mix the milk, melted butter, and egg.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Gently fold in the diced strawberries.
- In a small bowl, combine rolled oats, brown sugar, and cinnamon for the crunch topping.
- Roll the dough out into a rectangle about 1/2 inch thick and sprinkle with the oat topping.
- Roll the dough tightly and slice into 8 equal pieces, placing them cut-side up in the prepared baking dish.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until puffed and golden on top.
- While they bake, whisk together the powdered sugar, 2 tablespoons milk, and vanilla extract for the icing.
- Let the rolls cool for 5 minutes, then drizzle with icing.

Serve warm for a soft texture, and pair with coffee or light tea.
