A wonderfully simple yet flavorful dish that combines seafood and pasta in a rich garlic butter sauce.
Ingredients

- 8 ounces spaghetti or linguine
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 12 ounces shrimp, peeled and deveined
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- Grated Parmesan cheese for serving
Instructions
- Cook the spaghetti or linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook until the shrimp turn pink, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
- Toss the cooked pasta into the skillet and mix well to coat with the garlic butter sauce.
- Remove from heat, stir in the fresh parsley, and serve with freshly grated Parmesan cheese on top.
Notes
For a creamier version, add a splash of heavy cream or cream cheese. You can also substitute shrimp with scallops or chicken.
