Ingredients
Scale
- 8 ounces dark chocolate
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tablespoon espresso powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Chop the dark chocolate into small pieces and place it in a mixing bowl.
- In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream until it just starts to boil.
- Pour the hot cream over the chocolate and let it sit for 2 minutes. Add the espresso powder, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt, then stir until the chocolate is fully melted and the mixture is smooth.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 2 hours or until firm. Once firm, use a melon baller or spoon to scoop out small portions of chocolate and roll them into balls. Roll the truffles in cocoa powder to coat them.
