Description

Indulge in rich dark chocolate and aromatic espresso with these creamy, melt-in-your-mouth truffles, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces dark chocolate
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon espresso powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Chop the dark chocolate into small pieces and place it in a mixing bowl.
  2. In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream until it just starts to boil.
  3. Pour the hot cream over the chocolate and let it sit for 2 minutes. Add the espresso powder, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt, then stir until the chocolate is fully melted and the mixture is smooth.
  4. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 2 hours or until firm. Once firm, use a melon baller or spoon to scoop out small portions of chocolate and roll them into balls. Roll the truffles in cocoa powder to coat them.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week. Can also be frozen for up to three months.
