Description

Delightful crunchy snacks made from creamy cottage cheese, perfect for parties or quick finger foods.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 large egg
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Drain the cottage cheese well and pat it dry with paper towels.
  2. In a bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Beat the egg in another small bowl and put the flour on a flat plate for dredging.
  4. Roll small amounts of drained cottage cheese into stick shapes and coat them.
  5. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat until shimmering but not smoking.
  6. Fry the coated sticks in batches until golden brown, about 2–3 minutes per side.
  7. Remove the sticks with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
  8. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

Serve with marinara sauce, ranch, or a spicy yogurt dip. Garnish with chopped parsley or a squeeze of lemon.
