- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Powdered sugar for coating
Instructions
- Measure all ingredients and line a small baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream until simmering. Remove from heat and add the chocolate chips and butter; let sit for 30-60 seconds.
- Stir until smooth, then mix in lemon zest and juice.
- Cool the ganache to room temperature, then refrigerate until firm, about 1-2 hours.
- Once firm, scoop and roll the mixture into balls, then coat in powdered sugar.
- Place finished truffles on the baking sheet and refrigerate until ready to serve.
