Description

These creamy lemon truffles are silky, rich ganache bites with a zesty lemon lift. A perfect treat for any occasion.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Powdered sugar for coating

Instructions

  1. Measure all ingredients and line a small baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream until simmering. Remove from heat and add the chocolate chips and butter; let sit for 30-60 seconds.
  3. Stir until smooth, then mix in lemon zest and juice.
  4. Cool the ganache to room temperature, then refrigerate until firm, about 1-2 hours.
  5. Once firm, scoop and roll the mixture into balls, then coat in powdered sugar.
  6. Place finished truffles on the baking sheet and refrigerate until ready to serve.
