Description

A cozy, no-fuss weeknight meal featuring crispy tater tots, browned beef, sweet corn, and melted cheese, perfect for feeding a crowd.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can corn (drained)
  • 2 cups shredded cheese
  • 1 bag frozen tater tots
  • 1 onion (chopped)
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and chopped onion until browned, about 6–8 minutes. Drain excess fat, then add drained corn and cream of mushroom soup. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Transfer the beef mixture to the baking dish and spread evenly. Arrange tater tots on top and sprinkle with cheese. Bake for 30–35 minutes until tater tots are golden brown and cheese is bubbly.
  4. Let rest for 5–10 minutes before serving. Optionally, broil for 1–2 minutes for extra browning.

Notes

Serve with a simple green salad or steamed vegetables to balance the richness. Top with chopped parsley or a dollop of sour cream for added flavor.
