Description

A fresh and creamy cottage cheese dip with green onions and bell pepper, perfect for a quick appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup chopped bell pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Crackers or vegetables for serving

Instructions

  1. Gather and chop the green onions and bell pepper into small, bite-sized pieces. Place the cottage cheese in a medium mixing bowl. Pat the bell pepper dry if it is very wet so the dip does not become watery.
  2. Add the chopped green onions, bell pepper, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the bowl with cottage cheese. Use a spoon or spatula to fold everything together gently until evenly combined. Taste and adjust seasoning.
  3. No cooking is required for this appetizer. If you prefer a warm variation, gently sauté the bell pepper with a little olive oil for 1–2 minutes until slightly softened, cool it, then fold into the cottage cheese.
  4. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and smooth the top. Optionally garnish with extra chopped green onion, a sprinkle of freshly ground black pepper, or a drizzle of olive oil. Serve immediately with crackers or fresh vegetable sticks.

Notes

Store the dip in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3–4 days. Stir before serving.
