- 1 block firm tofu
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Press the tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut it into cubes.
- Whisk together coconut milk, lime juice, soy sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Marinate the tofu cubes in the mixture for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add the marinated tofu and cook until golden brown on all sides, about 8–10 minutes.
- Serve warm, garnished with chopped cilantro and a squeeze of fresh lime, if desired.
Notes
Press tofu well and consider marinating longer for stronger flavor. For extra crispiness, toss cubes in cornstarch before cooking.
