A hearty skillet dish combining savory sausage, tender perogies, and caramelized onions for a comforting meal.
Ingredients

- 1 package of frozen perogies
- 1 pound of sausage (e.g., kielbasa or your choice of sausage)
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add butter and onion, and sauté until the onions are translucent.
- Add the frozen perogies to the skillet and cook according to package instructions, usually about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Once the perogies are cooked through, add the sausage back into the skillet. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
Serve hot with a side salad or topped with sour cream.
