Description

A rich and creamy cheesecake with a buttery graham cracker crust, perfect for celebrations and gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, and melted butter; press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
  3. In a large bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing on low speed after each addition to keep the texture smooth and free of lumps.
  5. Stir in the sour cream and flour until everything is well combined.
  6. Pour the creamy filling over the graham cracker crust in the springform pan, spreading it evenly.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the center is set but slightly jiggly. The top should be lightly golden.
  8. Turn off the oven and leave the cheesecake inside with the door ajar for about 1 hour.
  9. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, before serving.
