Description
A rich and creamy cheesecake with a buttery graham cracker crust, perfect for celebrations and gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 4 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, and melted butter; press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
- In a large bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing on low speed after each addition to keep the texture smooth and free of lumps.
- Stir in the sour cream and flour until everything is well combined.
- Pour the creamy filling over the graham cracker crust in the springform pan, spreading it evenly.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the center is set but slightly jiggly. The top should be lightly golden.
- Turn off the oven and leave the cheesecake inside with the door ajar for about 1 hour.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, before serving.
