Description

Warm, soft cookies meet tangy cheesecake and warm cinnamon in these delicious treats, perfect for sharing.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for drizzle)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, brown sugar, and butter together until smooth and creamy. Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix well.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined. If desired, fold in the pecans.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Bake for about 10–12 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden and the centers look set but still soft.
  5. Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  6. Mix the powdered sugar with a little milk until it reaches a drizzle consistency and drizzle over the cooled cookies.

Notes

For best texture, store in an airtight container. Chilling the dough helps with shaping and prevents spreading.
