- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 package (16 oz) frozen tater tots
- 2 cups Alfredo sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup frozen peas (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, Alfredo sauce, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, peas (if using), and salt and pepper. Stir to coat evenly.
- Spread the chicken mixture in the greased casserole dish. Layer tater tots on top, then sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes until the tater tots are golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
- Let the casserole rest for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy the creamy chicken filling with the crispy topping.
Notes
For extra flavor, sauté diced onion in butter and mix it in. Ensure peas are thawed and drained to avoid a watery casserole. Let it rest before slicing for cleaner cuts.
