Description

A lively non-alcoholic drink that balances tart lemon, sweet blueberries, and refreshing herbs, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 12 tablespoons honey or agave syrup (optional)
  • Fresh herbs (such as mint or basil)
  • Sparkling water or soda
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Rinse the blueberries and herbs. Zest the lemon first if desired, then cut and squeeze out the juice. Measure honey or agave if using.
  2. Place blueberries, lemon juice, and honey or agave into a blender. Blend until smooth, about 20–30 seconds. If preferred, pour the puree through a fine mesh strainer.
  3. Add several sprigs of fresh herb to the puree and gently muddle to release oils and aroma. Taste and adjust sweetness or lemon as needed.
  4. Fill two glasses with ice cubes. Divide the blueberry-lemon-herb mixture between glasses, then top with sparkling water. Stir gently, garnish with extra blueberries and a sprig of herb, and serve immediately.

Notes

For a party, serve in a pitcher and let guests fill their own glasses. Adjust sweetness to preference and use ripe blueberries for best flavor.
