Description

A simple, elegant dish pairing tender asparagus with savory beef and salty prosciutto.


Ingredients

  • Asparagus spears
  • Beef slices
  • Prosciutto
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Trim the woody ends off the asparagus.
  2. Pat the asparagus dry so the oil and seasonings stick.
  3. Wrap a slice of beef around an asparagus spear and then wrap a slice of prosciutto around the beef.
  4. Arrange the wrapped spears on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  5. Drizzle with olive oil and season lightly with salt and pepper.
  6. Bake for 15–20 minutes until the beef is cooked through and the asparagus is tender.
  7. Remove from the oven and let rest for 1–2 minutes before serving.
