- 1 lb beef bacon
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Garlic powder (optional)
Instructions
- Pat the beef bacon dry with paper towels. Prepare a plate with paper towels and a clean bowl for chopped bacon.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until golden brown and crispy for about 10-12 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- In the same skillet, melt the butter over low heat and add salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Chop the cooled bacon into small pieces and stir it into the butter.
- Taste for seasoning and adjust as necessary. Let cool slightly, then transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate to firm up.
