Description

A festive twist on classic deviled eggs shaped like Christmas trees, perfect for holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 large eggs
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green food coloring (optional)
  • Chopped chives (for garnish)
  • Cherry tomatoes (for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Hard boil the eggs by placing them in a pot, covering with water, and boiling for about 10 minutes.
  2. Cool the eggs in an ice bath, then peel them.
  3. Slice the eggs in half lengthwise and remove the yolks. In a bowl, mash the yolks with mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and pepper until creamy. If desired, add green food coloring to the mixture for that festive touch.
  4. Pipe or spoon the yolk mixture back into the egg white halves. Arrange the filled eggs in a tree shape on a platter. Use chopped chives as ‘tree decorations’ and cherry tomatoes as ornaments. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. For best results, prepare just enough for your gathering.
